Ryan Mundy will likely be the Bears starting safety

The Chicago Tribune reports that the “plan” is for Ryan Mundy to start at safety for the Bears in 2014.

With Major Wright now gone,  the Bears have good replacement in Mundy who was a solid player for the Giants in 2013.

Mundy had 77 tackles and 1 interception in 2013.  He ended up getting benched in favor of Will Hill last season in New York.  It wasn’t that Mundy was awful.  Hill was just better.
