CJ and Kreckman on ESPN 102.3 in Denver asked Broncos left tackle Ryan Clady if he wants to be the highest paid offensive lineman in the NFL.
“No, that’s not the deal I’m after,” said Clady per SportsRadioInterviews.com. Just something comparable to Joe Thomas and Jason Peters. I feel like I’m in that category as far as tackles, so something along those lines.”
It’s great that Clady doesn’t want to be the highest paid player, but he’s still going to command a nice chunk of change. The Broncos likely won’t sign him to extension until after this season. They want to see how he rebounds from shoulder surgery.
