“We just got to execute and I just got to be better. That’s what it really comes down to it,” Wilson said, via ProFootballTalk.com.
Wilson believes they’ll do a much better job of improving on third downs after converting only 5 of 26 over the past two weeks.
“We’ll get it right. I know at one point, we were the best in the National Football League for seven-eight weeks on third downs. So it’s not like we haven’t done it before,” Wilson said.
Wilson addressed his horrific game last week against he Cardinals.
“Sometimes you just have a bad day,” Wilson said. “Sometimes your days are great, sometimes they’re good, and sometimes you have one or two bad days in there and hopefully you can get rid of those days.”
Wilson promises they’ll get better heading into the playoffs.
“The biggest thing for me is just continue to do what I’ve done all year, continue to try to be consistent and be clutch when we need it, and be the calm in the storm. I’m not going to waver, I never will. I never have, never will,” Wilson said.
