Ron Jaworksi would take Nicks Foles over Russell Wilson

ESPN NFL analyst Ron Jaworski says he would take Eagles quarterback Nick Foles over Seattle’s Russell Wilson.

“I’m taking Foles,” Jaworski told 97.5 The Fan in Philly, via  “Not even close.  Russell Wilson is just . . . because of that system he is in.  Russell Wilson plays with that defense, the best in football.  He just managed the game very well.  I think Russell Wilson has played terrific, a great maturity, but I’m going to take Nick Foles.”

I need to see a full season of Foles before I’d take him over Wilson.

Former Eagle picking a current Eagle on a Philly radio station. Not really news. Nor surprising.

  2. David Zall says

Hmmmm Jaws ZERO Super Bowl wins Russell Wilson 1 in 2 years. Teams win Super Bowls not QB’s. Say what you will about Wilson but he is much more than a game manager. Just because Seattle has a great team should not take away from Wilson’s play. Remember not making big mistakes helps the defense too!!!!

Says the slow slow footed mediocre quarterback about a tall, relatively slow footed quarterback for his old team. What a surprise.

Jaworski……That is why you wouldn’t win a superbowl. Nick Foles played well last year as a replacement. He had great numbers. But played a very weak division. Rusell was without his two best recievers for most of the year. Sure a great defense allows him to play safe. but don’t let that fool ya he can flat play quarterback. I will bet you his total numbers will be better than Foles this year. There is no way I would take Nick Foles over a Superbowl winner. Cause face it, winning is what Wilson does.

Lol at hawk fans that can’t believe someone would pick a non seahawk player if they could. Being a football fan for under three years is obvious

  6. Tim says

So you would take Trent differ over dan Marino? Got it.

In other news…. Average time the average seahawk fan has been watching football….. 2.6 years.

  7. Tim says

Super Bowl wins mean nothing in judging individual players. Otherwise you think dilfer>Marino. See how stupid you sound?
