Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett stated last week that Tony Romo will not play in this weekend’s Hall of Fame game against the Dolphins.
Today Romo told the media that he would like to play in the game, but will let his coaches decide.
“Sure. I always like to play,” Romo said, via DallasCowboys.com. “But we’ll do whatever the coach says. That’s part of being a team. We’ve got to get some guys some looks and do some things.”
With the Cowboys having five preseason games, it’s not a big deal to keep Romo out of Sunday’s game, but I don’t see a problem with having him play at least one series.
