Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that he recently spoke with tight end Heath Miller as he continues to recover from major knee surgery.
“I hope I can throw to Heath for the rest of my career. I talked to him recently; he’s doing good,” said Roethlisberger.
No one knows if Miller will be ready for the season opener. I think there’s even a chance he could begin the season on the PUP list.
Miller is a very good player and the Steelers know they make sure he doesn’t rush his rehab.
