Former NFL safety Rodney Harrison admitted to NBC’s Bob Costas that he’s scared to death of what his future might hold after suffering what he believes was 20 concussions during his career.
“A lot of these players are really really suffering, Bob,” Harrison said to Costas, per Yahoo! Sports. “And this stuff is for real because I’m experiencing it now. I’m scared to death. I have four kids, I have a beautiful wife and I’m scared to death what might happen to me 10 or 15 years from now.”
Like most former NFL players, Harrison blames the NFL for not educating him on the dangers of concussions.
We certainly hope Harrison’s life doesn’t the end the way his former teammate Junior Seau’s did.
