Roddy White, Victor Cruz take shots at one another

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White took a shot at Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz when he was asked if  New York has a better receiver tandem.

“Victor Cruz is a lot more of a slot receiver; the big boys play on the outside,” White said.

Cruz doesn’t care what White says because he has a Super Bowl ring.

“I couldn’t care less about what anybody else has to say,” Cruz told the Newark Star-Ledger. “I got a ring back at home. I don’t care about what Roddy White has to say.”

White still believes the Falcons have them receiver duo.

“The thing that me and [Julio Jones] bring to the game, we’re probably the best duo in the league right now,” White said.

I disagree with White, I think both Cruz and Hakeem Nicks are game changers, where as only Jones is a real legit playmaker.  I see White as more of a possession receiver.

At the end of the day, the Giants’ receivers put up more yards last season and have more through the first three weeks of this season.
