According to Mike Jones of The Washington Post, Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin II showed off his accuracy on Thursday by completing 16 of 17 throws during their 7 on 7 drills.
Griffin’s looked better planting his foot, per Jones. This may have been why he was so accurate.
Griffin appeared to plant better on his throws today than he did on Wednesday. His footwork on drop-backs, the way he stepped back, planted and then sprung forward, stepping with his left and dragging the back toe looked just like all the other quarterbacks. He didn’t seem to heave the ball, relying heavily on his upper body, like he did on Wednesday.
There’s no doubt that Griffin is very accurate when he’s healthy. He was very impressive last season with his deep throws.
