Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III was criticized by former Redskins great Sonny Jurgensen for wearing headphones during his pregame warm ups, per Dan Steinberg of the DC Sports Bog.

“Griffin’s pre-game routine caught the eye of one Sonny Jurgensen, who mentioned it disapprovingly on the air during the Redskins Radio Network broadcast.

“I haven’t been able to find the exact quote, but I’m told by a reliable source that Jurgensen was definitely critical of the headphones on the air,” wrote Steinberg.

I think it’s silly a guy like Jergensen to even have a problem with Griffin wearing head phones during his pregame warm ups.  He clearly doesn’t understand the modern NFL because when he played headphones didn’t exist.
