On Monday, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski told WEEI in Boston that his ankle is feeling “great.”
Gronkowski really expressed how happy he was with the new contract he just received from the Patriots.
“I’m just happy. Both sides are really happy. Very happy to be here,” Gronkowski said. “I love all my fans out there. It’s a great community, a great team. It’s awesome going out there every single Sunday and playing every Sunday in front of that crowd. I’m happy to be here long-term, definitely. I just feel like both sides are really happy. It all worked out well.”
I expect Gronk’s ankle to be good and ready for training camp at the end of next month. I’m sure his new contract will push him to get back on the field as well.
