Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski isn’t ready to say he’ll be ready for week one as he continues to rehab from ACL surgery.
“That’s too far away, man,” Gronkowski told WAAF’s The Hill-Man Morning Show, per the Boston Herald. “I’m just improving every day right now.”
Gronkowski said the recovery process is going well.
“It’s going good, man,” Gronkowski said. “You know how it is. Working hard every day, and I’m actually improving every week. It’s feeling good and coming along very well.”
Gronk admitted the recovery process isn’t easy.
“You’ve just got to have a mindset basically every single day that you’re going to go in, work hard and you’re going to get better,” Gronkowski said. “Definitely going in when it’s the same thing 15 weeks straight, it starts to get tough, but you’ve got to stay mentally tough, stay physically strong. You’ve got to just keep going in and keep grinding.”
