According to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was seen running sprint up a hill during practice on Thursday.
Tight end Rob Gronkowski made new strides yesterday in his return from a torn ACL and MCL. Per usual, he departed for the Dana-Farber Field House to continue his rehab assignment following the stretching and jogging portions of practice.
However, he emerged after about 15 minutes with Matthew Slater, and the pair ran sprints up the side of a hill at the far end of the field for about 10 minutes. It’s the first time Gronkowski has done that conditioning work in front of the media, so it can be chalked up as a sign of progress.
