Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman isn’t very happy that the Seattle Times recently told the world that he bought the home of NBA player Jamal Crawford.
Now that fans know where Sherman lives, they’ve been hanging out around his home and he’s not happy at all, so he’s decided to boycott the local media, according to CBS Seattle.
Most of the outrage at the Seattle Times is coming from Sherman himself who says he is being bombarded with fans hanging out around his house wanting autographs — or wanting to just “hang out.” The attention has gotten so out of control that Sherman is now refusing to speak to the local press.
It doesn’t help that property addresses in King County, Washington are available to the public.
Sherman can’t avoid the media once the season starts, since the NFL mandates that he talks to the press.
