Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Ronde Barber will become a free agent on March 13th like so many other NFL players. His future with the Bucs is in question with former head coach Raheem Morris out of the picture and Greg Schiano now in as the head man.
Barber has a close relationship with Morris from there time together in Tampa, which could sway Barber to sign with the Washington Redskins for at least a one year deal.
Adding Barber would definately help bolster the Redskins defensive back field as they look to continue to rebuild through the draft and free agency.
Of course Barber could also end up deciding to retire, since he’ll be 37 years-old by the time the 2012 season begins.Follow PFZ on Twitter @ProFootballZone
