Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III told reporters today that he’ll definitely be ready for week one of the regular season and there’s even a chance he’ll play during the preseason.
“There’s no doubt I’m playing week one,” said Griffin, via Rich Tandler of CSNWashington.com.
“I want to play in the preseason. … if things go great these next couple days, maybe, but it’s a hard ‘no’ right now,” he said.
Griffin continued, “It’s a hard no now. My job is to turn it into a soft now and then maybe a yes.”
I could see the Skins having Griffin play a few snaps in their final preseason game, but that’s about it.
