Rex Ryan “Mark Sanchez is not dead”

I don’t know if there was any confusion on the topic of whether or not Mark Sanchez was alive or not but Rex Ryan cleared it up. “Mark Sanchez is not dead,” the Jets’ head coach said to Seth Walder of the New York Daily News. Thanks a lot Rex. The response came as a typical Rex Ryan question dodge when asked about Sanchez’s future with the Jets.

“We’re acting like he’s dead. Mark Sanchez is not dead,” Ryan said, via Seth Walder of the New York Daily News. “Sanchez is going to be 100 percent healthy, guys. It’s not like his career’s over.”-ProFootballTalk.com

Rex Ryan did shed a little bit of light on the situation however.

“Well again, I’ll say it about anybody. Guys, you know how I feel about all of our players. I never want to lose a player ever. But I also understand there’s business sides for every decision, for Barnes included and Mark and every player.”

It’s not hard to read between the lines with that quote, and I would be very surprised if Mark Sanchez was a Jet by the start of next season.
