New York jets head coach Rex Ryan told the media that he had some sleep specialists come in and talk with his team about good sleep habits and how to get the right amount rest during the night.
“We’ve had sleep people come in, talking about how important sleep is, how important it is to get eight hours of it,” Ryan said Friday, per ESPNNewYork.com. “We bring in these specialists for a reason. I just think it’s wise to do that, listening to people with a lot more knowledge than myself about it.
“If we can gain a little advantage, then we’re going to look for it.”
I guess as an NFL head coach you have to figure out how to gain an advantage in any way you can.
The good news is that the Jets play the lowly Dolphins this weekend. It’s a game they should win.
