Danario Alexander signs his RFA tender with the Chargers

After losing wide receiver Vincent Jackson last year as a unrestricted free agent, the Chargers have managed to maintain restricted free agent Danario Alexander. Michael Gehlken of the UT San Diego reports that the receiver signed his $1.323 million tender.

This is great news for Philip Rivers, who historically has performed better when he had receivers at least 6’5″, as he now will have Alexander along with Malcolm Floyd and the budding Vincent Brown to throw to.

Now if they could only get Robert Meachem on track and that would give the Chargers a very dangerous wide receiving corps.
