According to Jeremy Fowler of the Pioneer Press, the Minnesota Viking plan on releasing starting guards Steve Hutchinson and Anthony Herrera.
The 34 year-old Hutchinson was scheduled to make almost $7 million in 2012, which is way too much for a veteran whose career is just about over.
Herrera (31 years-old) on the other hand was scheduled to make almost $3 million this coming season.
The Vikings are clearly rebuilding and looking to save money and get younger at the same time.
