According to ProFootballWeekly.com, Troy Polamalu’s calf injury has become a serous concern for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“It has been a tough season for Steelers SS Troy Polamalu, who has had to deal with a calf injury for much of the campaign. He has played just 77 snaps in two games (Weeks One and Five). He has not practiced or played since reaggravating the injury against the Eagles, and the way we hear it, the ailment, which first popped up a season ago, is a serious concern,” wrote PFW.
It seems like over the past few seasons that Polamlu’s body is beginning to give out on him. You have to wonder how much more football he has left in him at the age of 31.
