According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer,  Browns rookie running back Trent Richardson sat out from practice on Tuesday with a sore left knee.

“Browns running back Trent Richardson, the No. 3 overall pick in the draft, sat out practice today with a sore left knee and will undergo an MRI, a source told the Plain Dealer,” reported Cabot.

There’s a chance that Richardson could miss this week’s preseason opener.

“It’s not believed to be serious, but coach Pat Shurmur said he could miss Friday’s preseason opener in Detroit,” wrote Cabot.
