Sean Payton would rather answer a bounty question than talk about coaching the Cowboys

There were reports that the Dallas Cowboys and quarterback Tony Romo were working on a new contract and then a report came out yesterday that both sides are no longer talking.

Today we got some more insight on what’s going on.

According to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com, Romo has stopped the contract talks so he can focus on this season.  The Cowboys want him as their quarterback for the long-term and he seems like he wants the same thing.

Romo really needs to focus now that the Cowboys’ season is on life support after losing last night and falling to 3-5.
