We’ve reported that the Dallas Cowboys and linebacker Anthony Spencer have been working on a long-term extension. It sounds like things have cooled down lately.
According to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com, things are quiet between the Cowboys and Spencer right now.
Things are quiet on Anthony Spencer front. Cowboys have a little over $5 mil over the salary cap.

This doesn’t mean something won’t get done, but the Cowboys seem like they’re in less of a rush now that Tony Romo’s extension is done and they have a little more cap room heading into the draft.
