According to Jenny Vrentas of the Newark Star-Ledger, New York Giants cornerback Terrell Thomas underwent his third ACL surgery earlier this week.
Thomas was hoping to be able to just rehab his knee, but it looks like that wasn’t working. Dr. James Andrews performed the surgery. His recovery is expected to take six months.
Coming back from a third ACL surgery is going to be difficult. I have to imagine that if Thomas’ knee doesn’t hold up this time around his career could soon be over.
