According to ESPN’s John Clayton, free agent quarterback Tarvaris Jackson is headed to Seattle to visit with the Seahawks. There’s a good chance he’ll end up signing with them.
Quarterback Tarvaris Jackson, placed on waivers by the Buffalo Bills on Monday, is heading to Seattle in the next day or two to possibly sign a contract with the team, two sources said.
Jackson was the Seahawks’ starting quarterback in 2011, but lost his job to Russell Wilson last summer. The Seahawks traded him to the Bills before the start of last season.
If the Seahawks sign Jackson, it is not known what they would do with Brady Quinn, who was signed to be the backup this offseason.
The Seahawks do have an opening for a quarterback. They released Josh Portis in May.
