Report: Santonio Holmes' ribs are fine

According to Brian Costello of the New York Post, Jets head coach Rex Ryan said that he wasn’t sure if wide receiver Santonio Holmes broke a rib in practice or not.
“I don’t know if Santonio broke a rib or not, but the fact that it was sticking out was probably an indicator.,” said Ryan per Costello.
According to NFL.com, x-rays on Holme’s ribs came back negative. So his ribs aren’t broken and he’s considered day to be day at this point.
