Report: San Francisco Chronicle will no longer use the Redskins name

According to Yahoo! Sports,  the San Francisco Chronicle doesn’t plan on using the Redskins name any longer within any piece of writing they publish.

The newspaper has made no announcement about the decision, and, according to the report, the change may be reported in a column in the paper.

The Chronicle is one of many major publications that no longer use the Redskins name.

The Kansas City Star,  Slate.com and TheMMQB.com  no longer use the term “Redskins” in their articles.
