According to The Washington Post,  Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III isn’t expected to play again this season.  Rex Grossman is expected to back up Kirk Cousins for the final three games.

It is expected that Griffin will be deactivated for the remainder of the season, according to two people with knowledge of Coach Mike Shanahan’s thinking, and that Rex Grossman will take over as the second-string quarterback.

It’s also been reported that Shanahan is going with Cousins because he believes he can run their offense better than Griffin.
