According to the Baltimore Sun, the Baltimore Ravens are getting ready to sign veteran receiver Brandon Stokley.
Stokley, a 14 year veteran, was last seen with the Denver Broncos last year where he caught 45 passes for 544 yards. Throughout his career, Stokley has also spent time with the Colts, Seahawks, Giants, and Ravens. The Ravens were the ones who drafted Stokley in the fourth round of the 1999 NFL draft.
Stokley’s best season came in 2004 with the Colts when he caught 68 passes for 1,077 yards and 10 touchdowns.
The Ravens are hurting for some pass-catchers. They’ve lost tight end Dennis Pitta to injury for the season and receiver Deonte Thompson is sidelined currently with a left ankle injury.
