According to Adam Caplan of TheSidelineView.com, the Baltimore Ravens and quarterback Joe Flacco’s agent Joe Linta met on Sunday to continue negotiating towards getting Flacco a contract extension.

“The Ravens and the agent for QB Joe Flacco, Joe Linta, met Sunday to discuss a new contract for the fifth-year player. The meeting was held at the Ravens training complex in Owings Mills, MD. Both sides have been increasing discussions in recent weeks,” reported Caplan.

“It was good to meet with (general manager & executive vice president) Ozzie (Newsome) and (vice president of football administration) Pat (Moriarty) in person. We’ll continue to get at this as we go along here,” Linta told Thesidelineview.com.

I believe Flacco will have a new deal by the start of the regular season, or not far after.
