Report: Ravens are negotiating with Elvis Dumervil

According to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, the Broncos are unable to offer free agent linebacker Elvis Dumervil the $8 million per year contract they offered him last week before he was released since the Broncos now have $4.9 million in dead money.

It looks like Dumervil might be moving on, since he’s been in negotiations with the Baltimore Ravens, according to Klis.

The Ravens have to land Dumervil after losing Dannell Ellerbe, Paul Kruger and Ray Lewis this offseason.
