On Friday we reported the possibility of Oakland Raiders head coach Hue Jackson potentially being let go now that Reggie McKenzie is the Raiders new general manager.
ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reported on Saturday via TheRedZone.org, that league sources have indicated that new Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie is thinking about making a coaching change even though Kennard McGuire who’s the agent for both men, has been denying such reports.
McKenzie has been going back and forth as to whether it would be a good thing to bring in his own coach, despite his relationship with Jackson.
If McKenzie does decide to let Jackson go and bring in his own guy, Packers assistant head coach Winston Moss would be the front runner.

I don’t think firing Hue jackson is good Idea, he good footbal coach, he was just wearing to big of shoes this year as a first time head coach. Let him go back wearing the right size shoes and leave the rest of the football bizz to Reggie. More time with Palmer and his offinve team would help allot. Fire Bresnahan keep the rst of the coach and hire a very D coach.
Another great post by Paul Jackiewicz. Hate to see Hue go if it happens, but with all the penalties this season and the fact that Carson Palmer wasn’t great this season and that was solely his decision, his job certainly is not safe.
It might not be a bad move to get rid of him depending on who becomes the next coach. It is time for the silver and black to get back to the playoffs!
I’m hoping Reggie Mac gives Hue another year since the offense faired much better then defense considering the adjustments of losing DMac, Campbell, and depending on a rookie reciever DMoore to get the offense going, its time to dump Bresnahan!! Bresnahan’s defense was a total embarrassment, especially for the $$$ contracts for Kelly, Routt & company, and what happened to our linebacking corps?? McClain’s head was elsewhere obviously. No DE to for QB pressure since Matt Shaunassey got injured. One last tidbit we also need a special teams coordinator.Fassel just gave up took many long returns meaning “ouch” on special teams. Give Hue his due, because he’s pissed.
