According to Howard Eskin of NBC 10 in Philadelphia, wide receiver Plaxico Burress wants to play for the Eagles next season.
There was chatter when Burress was released from prison last year that he wanted to play for the Eagles, but he instead opted to sign with the Jets.
Burress had a solid season in New York, with 45 receptions for 612 yards and 8 touchdowns. He’ll hit the free agent market once the new league year begins on March 13th.
