According to Bob Fescoe of 610 Sports in Kansas City, the Chiefs and agent Tom Condon have spoken twice about Peyton Manning.
Since Manning is still under contract with the Colts, his agent and himself shouldn’t be talking with any teams. But it seems like both the Chiefs and Manning have an interest in uniting.
The Chiefs have some weapons on offense to surround Manning with, if they can get wide receiver Dwayne Bowe under contract for 2012. Dexter McCluster, Jonathan Baldwin, Steve Breaston and Jammal Charles would be a nice group of young talent for Manning to play with.
Update: According to a source, it isn’t certain that Manning’s agent met with the Chiefs, but the feeling around the Kansas City area is that both sides are interested.
