According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin is on track to play next week after being ruled out for Monday’s game against the Rams
Seattle receiver Percy Harvin, who has missed all season following hip surgery, was ruled out for Monday night’s game after returning to practice this week, but is on target to play in Week 9, according to sources close to the situation.
The Seahawks plan on bringing Harvin along slowly.
The Seahawks intend to gradually bleed him into the lineup, given how much time he has missed, and this week, traveling to St. Louis after just practicing for a few days, ultimately led coach Pete Carroll to rule him out. The Seahawks are working closely with Harvin, and their doctors and his rehab specialists to ensure they are not putting the surgically repaired hip in any danger and with just one loss this season the club is erring on the side of caution.
