It’s already been reported that Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will not play in Sunday night’s game against the Falcons.
According to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald, the Patriots and Gronkowski disagreed on whether he could play this week or not.
Tight end Rob Gronkowski and the Patriots have a disagreement over his availability for tomorrow’s game against the Falcons, two sources have told the Herald.
The Pats reportedly believe Gronk is OK to play Sunday and Gronk and his reps believes it’s too soon for him to start playing after breaking his forearm twice last season.
Howe also reported that the Pats were thinking he would be ready by week two and that Gronk was eyeing a return of around week six.
I know the Patriots need Gronk in the lineup, but the last thing they need to do is rush him back.
