According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, via Evan Silva, the New England Patriots are “expected to entertain” trade offers for quarterback Ryan Mallett.
Now that the Patriots have locked in Tom Brady for the next five years, Rapoport believes they will shop Mallett.
“I think it means he’s gonna be traded,” said Rapoport, per Rotoworld.com.

The Patriots are reportedly looking for a second or third round pick.
