Report: Packers offered Greg Jennings $10 million per year at one point

According to ESPNWisconsin.com, at one point the Green Bay Packers offered wide receiver Greg Jennings a $10 million per year deal to stick around.

According to one source, the Packers extended an offer to Jennings “a while ago” that averaged roughly $10 million per year, and the other source said Jennings’ agent, Eugene Parker, had been in discussions with the Packers about his possible return.

No one knows if that specific offer from the Packers is still on the table for Jennings to take, but it’s not a surprise that he’s not as a coveted on the open as he was hoping.

Jennings is a good receiver, but people are worried he won’t flourish outside of Green bay and he has some injury concerns.
