According to Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the Packers have made an offer to defensive lineman B.J. Raji.
The Packers had offered Raji the options of one- and two-year contracts, the Journal Sentinel learned. For one year, their offer was for about $4 million.
The Journal Sentinel reported that Raji last season turned down a long-term offer averaging $8 million. That offer contained about $20 million in guaranteed money.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter also reported that the Packers and Raji are close to finalizing a deal.
Packers and B.J. Raji are close to completing a 1-year deal that will keep the DT in Green Bay and off the free-agent market, per sources.
