Report: Packers, Aaron Rodgers $2 million apart on a new contract

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Green Bay Packers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers are $2 million apart on agreeing to a contract extension.

Rapoport also reported that Rodgers’ contract will exceed $21 million per year.

Rodgers has earned the contract. I still can’t believe Romo got the deal he did, Romo is “Bill Buckner on automatic” in BIG games but based on their extremely miss managed salary cap he had the leverage he needed. If the Cowboys management were players they would have to replace the helmet with the star on it with a dunce cap.
