Report: NFL will announce decision on Dashon Goldson’s appeal on Wednesday

Buccaneers safety Dashon Goldson managed to get his appeal for his one game suspension expedited and it looks like the NFL will be ready to make a ruling on Wednesday, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.

Goldson was suspended one game by the NFL for hitting Saints running back Darren Sproles with the crown of his helmet.  The reason he received such a steep penalty is because he’s a repeat offender.

NFL needs to enforce its policies fairly and stop playing favorites. If Sherman of the Seahags or Reid of the 49ers makes that same hit it
‘s just a good play. Anyone else and it’s a penalty.
