According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, Dallas Cowboys cornerback Mike Jenkins will not show up for OTA’s any time soon as he rehab’s his shoulder. It also looks like he wants to be traded.
After the Cowboys signed free agent cornerback Brandon Carr and drafted cornerback Morris Claiborne this offseason, there were indications that they would attempt to trade Jenkins. But soon after those rumors emerged, owner Jerry Jones indicated that they plan on keeping Jenkins.
Jenkins will likely not be starting this season, so he I would think that he’d want to go somewhere we can be on the field a lot more. He’s going into the final year of his current contract, so the worst thing that can happen is that he plays out his final year, than hits the free agent market.Follow PFZ on Twitter @ProFootballZone
