According to CSNBayArea.com, Michael Crabtree is willing to agree to an incentive-laden contract with the 49ers.
Due to his injury history, Crabtree is willing to accept a contract that is heavy in incentives, according to the report. Crabtree’s best season was in 2012 when he caught 85 passes for 1,105 yards and nine touchdowns – with the bulk of his production coming after the quarterback switch to Kaepernick from Alex Smith.
A report came out on Tuesday stating that the Niners would like to sign Crabtree to an extension before the start of the regular season.
They have 15 days to get something done.
