According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan suffered a sprained shoulder during today’s loss to the 49ers.
Ryan was diagnosed with a sprained AC joint but will not need surgery, according to the source. The two-time Pro Bowler popped his shoulder back into place and may not need an MRI on Monday.
At least Ryan doesn’t have to worry about getting healthy for the Super Bowl. He’ll now have plenty of time to get healthy for next season.
