Report: Marshawn Lynch unhappy with his contract, expected to skip minicamp

beast mode marshawn lynchAccording to Rand Getlin of Yahoo! Sports, Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is expected to skip Seattle’s mandatory minicamp,  since it appears that he’s unhappy with his contract.

Lynch, who skipped the team’s visit to the White House in May, and reportedly hasn’t appeared at any of the team’s voluntary organized team activities (OTAs) thus far, is thought to be unhappy with his contract, though it’s not clear if that is the only football-related reason the running back is considering skipping or reporting late to minicamp.

Lynch is scheduled to make $5 million this season and lets face it,  Seattle can’t really afford to give him much more right now.

If Lynch does hold out,  the Seahawks will be able to fine him on a daily basis.
