Report: Lions give Jim Schwartz a contract extension

According to Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com, the Lions have signed head coach Jim Schwartz to a new multi-year contract extension. Both sides have refused to talk about an extension this offseason. Now they have something to talk about.
Schwartz has certainly earned an extension after turning the Lions into a playoff contender after they’ve been a laughing-stock for so long.
