Would really like to see John Mara tell Jerry Reese and Tom Coughlin that he wants Josh McDaniels as the new OC. McDaniels might go for it if he gets enough control over the offense (maybe he’d go for working with Coughlin’s scheme… could be a good learning experience for him… but only if he’s allowed to sync up with Eli on calling the plays he wants, when he wants… if Coughlin tries to put Josh in a box, I don’t think he’d go for it), because he may think he has a quicker shot to HC behind Coughlin than he does behind Belichick.
