According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, a source close to Jeff Fisher has insisted that the delay in choosing between the St. Louis Rams and the Miami Dolphins is not a ploy to gain any leverage. At this point nether team has made any offers to Fisher.
The source also stated that Fisher wants to make sure he ends up in the ideal situation.
“This is not about money, not about negotiating,” said Schefter’s source. “This is about winning.”
Not sure what the big hang up is, he should know by now what his options are, unless he’s lying through his source and the Dolphins and Rams have made an offer.
It looks like Fisher’s decision might not come until maybe this weekend at the rate this is going.
