Report: Jason Witten still not cleared, chances of playing next week are "not good"
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten still hasn’t been cleared to get back on the field.
“After meeting with several medical specialists this week, doctors still have not cleared Dallas TE Jason Witten to play in Wednesday’s regular-season opener vs. Giants, according to league source. Witten is not expected to be re-evaluated until early next week, which means the chances of him playing Wednesday night are ‘not good,’” wrote Schefter.
As optimistic as the Cowboys have been that Witten might play next week, it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen.
